How was your first encounter with a computer?

As far as I can remember, my generation was already familiar with computers. I was able to use one when I was in Elementary, and I was genuinely fascinated by it. I’ve always wondered how it works and such. When I first got ahold of a computer, all I knew was how to turn it on and off since my brothers would handle everything, and I will get to use it after guiding me. I learned so much in just a short period by paying attention to what they did. As I learned all the basics, I did the exploring alone. It came to mind how often my mother had scolded me for spending so much time playing with my cousins at the computer shop and constantly begging for money to do so.
Once I realized that this device would be a necessity for me, whether it was a laptop or phone, I was set. What I like most about this device is that I can learn something new while having fun at the same time. Computers have made my life simpler and improved my abilities. I owe Charles Babbage a debt of gratitude for designing such a sophisticated and complex machine to benefit us all. I would have never discovered my hobby of graphic designing if it weren’t for this.

ReplyDeleteComputers truly made our lives easier, from helping us in our schoolworks and online classes, to upgrading our knowledge around its properties. Computers are made essential to man as it ease the burden in handling works, especially when in need of research, sending e-mails, visiting sites, writing essays, novels, and paperworks. It also allows us to travel on different media platforms enabling us to watch and listen to our favorite songs and watch movies. This creation made by technology is a life-saver <3
ReplyDeleteIt is indeed a wonderful and nostalgic experience to remember. Same with you, after knowing the basics of computer, i explore it all alone. Through that i became a pro in using computers. Also, with the help of technology, I had no problem with my online class and I got to connect with my fam and friends even we're miles away.
