If I were given the opportunity to work in the information technology field, I would without a doubt become a Web Designer.

Starting in high school, I was hired as the layout artist for Ang Rantso, the official Filipino publication organization of MNCHS, where I served for five years in that capacity. I was a complete novice at the time; all I knew was how to remove the background from a photograph. I gained so much knowledge along the road, simply due to YouTube and other sources of information. It took me years of practice, but I was eventually able to refine and enhance my abilities in all aspects of editing, including visual design. I also gained an understanding of the concept and concepts of design.

During those years, I was always the one assigned to edit photos, videos, design events, and the interface of a website. The latter is because of our subject, ICT, and we were tasked with creating a website using HTML.

According to targetjobs (n.d), a web designer plans, creates, and codes internet sites and web pages, many of which combine text with sounds, pictures, graphics, and video clips. This individual is responsible for the amazing websites we see on the Internet today. This implies that I am suited for this career because I have the most skills that are needed.

My team and I were hard at work prepping for a regional competition in the photo below, which was taken in 2018.

The person in green is me
